Throughout the month, Attleboro Firefighters are visiting preschools and schools across the city to teach our youngest residents about fire safety.
Some of the important lessons we’re sharing include:
Close Before You Doze – Always shut your bedroom door before going to sleep. It can help protect you from smoke and fire.
Stay Low – If there’s smoke, crawl low under it to get to safety.
Have a Meeting Place – Choose a safe spot outside where your family can meet during an emergency.
Practice Your Escape Plan – Know two ways out of every room and practice your plan regularly.
