ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Firefighters quickly extinguished a shed fire Saturday afternoon on Donald Lane.
The Attleboro Fire Department responded at 2:06 p.m. for a report of a structure fire. Crews arrived to find a shed fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters knocked down the bulk of the fire quickly, then transitioned to firefighting foam because of flammable liquids stored inside that ignited.
No damage was reported to the residence, though radiant heat melted a nearby fence and pool equipment. Crews remained on scene for about an hour.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
