ATTLEBORO, MA — The Attleboro Fire Department responded to 50 calls for service on Aug 16, 2025, marking one of the busiest shifts of the year.
At two points during the day, firefighters were handling seven simultaneous emergencies, requiring crews to be deployed across the city. Due to the high call volume, the department requested mutual aid five times.
Neighboring fire departments from North Attleboro, Seekonk, and Norton provided critical support.
We are grateful for the assistance from our mutual aid partners. Their support allowed us to continue delivering emergency services to our residents during an extremely busy period.
