Training is one of the most important things we do, but the cost of materials and building props can sometimes limit what’s possible. Thanks to the generosity of Home Depot in South Attleboro, it a little easier.
Home Depot donated lumber, plywood, threaded rods, and other supplies that will be used to build new training props. The materials were handed over to Attleboro High School’s vocational program, where students will take on the project. Once the props are complete, students will have the unique opportunity to see their hard work in action and even sit in on a training exercise with our firefighters.
This is a great example of the community working together. Local businesses, schools, and first responders all playing a role. We want to thank Home Depot, the staff and students at AHS, and our community for your continued support.
