The Attleboro Fire Department is currently accepting applications for lateral transfers and new hires.

We are welcoming applicants from:

  • Civil service departments

  • Non-civil service departments

  • Third-party EMS services

  • Certified paramedics

Lateral transfers can bring their time with them.
Options available for dedicated ALS ambulance assignment after graduation from the Massachusetts Fire Academy.

Highlights include:

  • Starting salary: $81,233.00 – $91,076.20 (Step One)

  • Certification pay

  • 10,000+ annual calls

  • 24-hour shifts

  • Shift bids across 4 stations

  • Advancement opportunities

  • Up to 5 weeks of vacation

  • Education stipend: $3,500 and up

  • Health benefits: 25%/75% split

  • Longevity incentives

  • Pension at retirement

  • Paramedic stipend: 7% plus $7,000
