ATTLEBORO- The Attleboro Fire Department extinguishing vehicle fire that spread toa second vehicle.
On Monday night, January 26, 2026, at approximately 10:30 PM, crews were dispatched to Bliss Avenue for a reported vehicle fire.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a pickup truck fully involved, with fire extending to a work van parked nearby. Crews quickly knocked down the fire, preventing further spread and damage to a nearby residence.
At the time of the incident, temperatures were approximately 15 degrees. The extreme cold created challenging operating conditions, as freezing water caused the area to become slippery in a short period of time.
Crews remained on scene for approximately one hour. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. No injuries were reported.
