Due to the ongoing extreme heat, the City of Attleboro will open cooling centers on Thursday July 2, Friday July 3, and Saturday July 4 for residents who do not have access to air conditioning. The centers are free to use, and no reservations are required. We also encourage everyone to check on elderly neighbors, family members, and others who may be especially vulnerable to the heat. A simple phone call or visit can make a significant difference during periods of dangerously high temperatures.
